Lost power while updating bios
I had a surge protector before this problem, but forgot to use it after a move. (No result, the only way to turn it off is to flip the switch on the PSU)- Changing HDMI cables and their input source (gpu or integrated, both get the same result)- Listening for beeps. Symptoms:- The computer does in fact turn on, as all the lights and fans turn on when the power button is pushed.- The USB mouse I have plugged in also lights up when I turn it on, but becomes dim as if not getting/recieving a signal or it's idle.
Shaking it does not brighten it back to it's active state, which it usually does.- The TV the PC is connected to displays the message while both are on: "No signal input" / similar.
If everything appears to be correct, you can try resetting the CMOS to the default values.
After the CMOS values are reset, save changes and exit the BIOS to reboot the system.
The next day, I attempted to return to the project I had been working on.
Sometimes leaving the computer can re-charge the battery.
If the computer lost power while it was still running, it may have corrupted the CMOS.

It also destroyed my power supply, to which luckily my brother had an old spare.
